Whats the Deal–Obama and Israel PART II “Winds of Change”

Yesterday I wrote about Obama’s visit to Israel, and some strange things that stuck out to me in the news.

You can read that post HERE.

But I find today’s news very interesting as well.

Apparently there is some strange weather phenomenon that has affected his final activities.

“Winds, dust clouds ground presidential choppers,

lead to cancellation of formal airport farewell ceremony”

(Times of Israel)

This picture is crazy! Not only did the wind and dust force them to cancel the farewell ceremony, but it also forced him from taking a nice little helicopter ride to Bethlehem.

“Obama had planned to fly by helicopter from Bethlehem, his final stop, to the airport, but that proved impossible. The Bethlehem visit was the Christian component of his Holy Land trip, and an element he was reluctant to cancel but in the end had to keep short” (Times of Israel, emphasis mine).

What is so ironic to me, is that the “Christian” component of his trip was cancelled.

Does this have any symbolic significance?

Probably not.

And yet, I would like to point out that in Obama’s first speech after arriving in Israel yesterday he spoke of winds.

Interesting winds.

“Winds of change.”

Winds that will bring both promise and peril.

Yesterday I suggested that there might possibly be some hidden or secret meaning lying beneath his rhetoric.

It happens all the time in these political speeches. They get their point across to key listeners while the mass audience suspects nothing.

And here we have a dust storm.

Caused by wind.

A day that is darkened by the dust.

And Bethlehem is no longer a part of the plan.

Where was Obama born?

Just kidding.

(I had to)

Was it the Yeats poem, “Second Coming” that ends with the line–

“And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?”

Yes. And I was so sad the day I found out Yeats was an occultist who penned this poem as an exercise in occult “automatic writing.”

I digress.

Like I said yesterday, I am NOT implying that I think the leader of the free world is the Anti-Christ.

I am saying that I find it interesting as I watch the news and ponder, HOW MUCH is going on in the UNSEEN REALM that we can never know.

Just as Daniel was hindered from insight, by the “Prince of Persia”

“Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.  But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.” Daniel 10:12-13

In fact, there was a war in the spirit realm that Gabriel is talking about–as he was on his way to give Daniel the prophesy of the end of the world.

At that time Michael shall stand up,
The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people;
And there shall be a time of trouble,
Such as never was since there was a nation,
Even to that time.” Daniel 12:1

For some reason the demonic ruler, did not want Daniel to get the message.

That message is for OUR time.

There are spirits involved in our national affairs.

Michael is said to be the “prince” or angel that guards Israel.

He has a big job on his hands, lately.

And there are angels and fallen angels that guard territories on our planet.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

Principalities–arche–ruler, magistrate of angels or demons

One of those “principalities” is known as being the “Prince of the Power of the Air”

Can the Prince of the Power of the Air affect the wind?

And what would that mean in this situation?

BUT to think that there is nothing going on in our relations with Israel . . .

                         SPIRITUALLY SPEAKING . . .

                         is naive.

I imagine a room full of world leaders, human and angelic.

There is so much that we can’t see.

It reminds me that I need to pray more.

pray pray pray

We certainly won’t know the details about all these meetings, conferences, and plans until much much later, but it is so fun to ponder . . .

“What is the deal with these locusts?”

“What is the deal with that random dust storm in Israel today?”

“What is the deal with Obama and Israel?”
